Who we are

Globeo books and manages lodging for crews travelling for work. This policy covers globeo.com and the services offered through it. It does not cover the separate customer portal at app.globeo.com, which is governed by the agreement between Globeo and that customer.

Information we collect

When you request a demo or contact us, we collect the details you give us: your name, work email address, phone number, company, and anything you write in a message. If you book a demo, the time you choose and your timezone are recorded alongside it.

When you browse the site, we and the analytics providers below receive standard technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the site that referred you, and how long you stay. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

We do not ask for, and have no use for, payment card details, government identifiers, or health information through this website.

Analytics and third-party services

This site uses Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, the Meta pixel and PostHog to understand how the site is used and to measure marketing. These services set their own cookies and receive the technical information described above. Each operates under its own privacy policy.

Demo bookings are handled by Calendly, which receives the name, email, phone number and answers you provide in the booking form so that it can schedule the meeting. Booking forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a request comes from a person rather than an automated script.

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes request data in order to deliver pages and protect against abuse.

How we use the information

To respond to enquiries, arrange and hold demos, and provide the lodging services you ask us for.

To operate, secure and improve the website, including understanding which pages and articles are useful.

To send you information about our services where you have asked for it or where we have a legitimate business reason to do so. You can ask us to stop at any time.

To meet our legal and contractual obligations.

How we share it

We share information with the service providers named above, and with the hotels and properties necessary to fulfil a booking you have asked us to make.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and booking records are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. Analytics data is retained according to each provider's own retention settings.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us at the address above and we will respond within a reasonable period.

You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the UK and EU GDPR. We will honour those rights where they apply to you.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information from unauthorised access, alteration or loss. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This is a business service. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
